During a recent conversation at E3 I found it interesting looking back that some of my favorite Mickey pieces from this one program all have teeth.

Here are some pieces that were done to officially tie in to the N.B.A. I've already seen a bunch of these on t-shirts after the L.A. Lakers won the championship last year. I'll post some more in a bit along with some done for the MLB.

Yeah, I know. I've neglected my blog yet again. Life keeps getting in the way. Here are some newer pieces that have started showing up in the public arena which means I can now display them as well. Done to tie in with the MLB. I'll post up some of the pieces I created for the NBA soon.

I'm working on more jobs that I'll put up eventually. I'm trying to make sure enough time passes before posting current work in respect to the folks I'm working with. I'll start fishing around for some older pieces I haven't shown yet.

Imagine that. A friend pointed me in the direction of a picture of the finished piece. Not sure why they built up the grass so high under the horse though. looks strange.

Here are a couple of views from the turnaround drawings I did for this snowglobe. I don't think this has hit the shelves at the Disney Store yet. But the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" snowglobe that I worked on has. I'll post some of those soon.

I was doing some organizing and came across this unused phone concept. The internal Disney beaurocracy thought the piano was too "old fashioned". So nothing was made. I was going to concept a whole line of phones hidden in sculptures but they never made it past loose thumbnails. I'd have put this on my shelf if the sculpt came out nice. Oh well.

Hey all,

Here are some newer pencils done for various projects. This post was supposed to have been pictures of sculptures I'm currently working on but I haven't got the lighting down right just yet. I didn't realize it was so tricky to get them to photograph well. They'll be up soon. Hopefully I get the kinks worked out this weekend.

Russian Fashion Show starring Minnie

These pieces were done for a fashion show held in Russia. There were costumes made at Disneyland so that an actual Minnie could walk down the runway. I always find it fun to see how (and IF) we can translate fashion designs for the characters to wear. It can be really tricky to make sure the outfit doesn't dominate and overpower the character. The duplicate was an alternate to highlight the dress shape a bit more. I'll post some of the others shortly.

This was part of a set of Indy inspired drawings. Maybe they'll show up in the theme parks eventually. I hope so as I had a blast working on these.

These are two pieces I created for "The Day of the Dead" celebration. They were inked with a brush. I prefer doing anything by hand over digital. Nothing is more pleasing to me than being able to hold an original up to examine (1940's Tom & Jerry drawings for example). It's just not the same with a printout. Would you rather own a Frazetta painting or a printout? Digital work has it's place but you can't see the thinking process as compared to something done by hand.

Alright, So I'm putting up more Disney drawings. I know I was planning on adding more personal work 1st but I can't help it if I'm constantly drawing the mouse.
